Vasilopita – Greek New Year’s Cake

A delicious Greek New Year’s Cake (Vasilopita) infused with the aromas and blends of oranges, brandy, walnuts and spices, garnished with icing sugar. 

Vasilopita is a traditional Greek cake and is enjoyed to celebrate the New Year. Hidden inside the cake is a gold coin wrapped in foil – whoever is fortunate enough to receive the coin in their slice is said to have good luck for the rest of the year.

Serves up to 20 people.
